  • Hi there,

I was planning to come along but a new research project is keeping me chained to my laptop (thankfully in the garden).

Hope to see you next time round!

    Best,

    Kate

  • O dear – we’ve not set a date for the next one yet but I have no doubt there will be more soon! We’ll also be tweeting and blogging about other local social media related events so maybe we’ll catch up at one of those?

  • Sorry, not going to make it yet again (one day I will, promise) – off to see Steven Isserlis at the Pump Room

Hope everyone has fun, and doesn’t melt!

  • O dear, that’s another person missing out! At least we know you trust us with your ‘baby’! ;-)

    Hi Rachel
Lovely to meet you last night. Hope you’ve recovered from the stresses of being hostess.
Is there some place where I can see who was there last night? I’m trying to find people by randomly trawling others’ Twitter followers, but am getting the feeling that this is not the most efficient way of doing this.
    Can you help?
    Best wishes
    Betti

  • Hi Betti, thanks for getting in touch! I’m glad you’re keen to stay in contact with people. I can help you by providing some of the Twitter names. Hopefully people will let me know any I miss some out!

    Attendees:
    Jonathan Pollinger (@jonnop)
    Andy Thorne (@jealousdesign)
    Chris Roberts (@solutionmania)
    Crocket Cresswell (@satoricreative)
    Lucy (@little_lucylu)
    Nina DeWinter (@dewinternina)
    Adrian Malpass (@adrianexg)
    Rich Mehta (@jkale)
    Joe Sergeant (@joeserg)

I know there were more people on the evening but I didn’t circulate as much as I’d planned. I’ll put word out on Twitter to see if we can get more. Hope this helps!

    Hi Rachel
Here’s an idea for next time: if you’re getting people to fill in their Twitter names on the name badges, collect the badges afterwards and put out a couple of tweets (as many as necessary as they probably won’t all fit in one tweet) listing everyone who came. It’ll make it really easy for people to find the people they met, even if they didn’t make a note of their name there and then, and follow up (i.e. follow them).
I think that’s what Howard did for the jelly attendees and it worked really well.
    What do you think?
    Best wishes
    Betti

  • O yeah! We do collect the name badges afterwards – I will go and have a look.
